We’re thrilled to announce that Miralon in Palm Springs wears the 2021 Gold Awards Crown, along with PCBC’s Top Honor, representing the best of the building industry with Masterplan Community of the Year, the highest possible recognition. The annual Gold Nugget Awards is one of the nation’s most competitive and prestigious design competitions, and Freehold Communities is grateful for the honor.
Miralon set out to build a new standard for sustainable design and development. These achievements confirm the vision, innovation and exemplary artistry, which achieved a seamless integration of innovative building systems for an eco-friendly community and we are honored to be recognized.
In thanking the Gold Nugget judges, co-nominees and project collaborators, Freehold Communities California Division President Brad Shuckhart said, “We are grateful and humbled to receive the building industry’s top honors. Additional Gold awards for Miralon – Best Community Land Plan, Best Landscape Architecture for a Community and Best Community Pivot – also testify to the community’s incredible vision that transformed a barren golf-course into an eco-friendly paradise. Of Miralon, the judges wrote, “With Modernist-inspired architecture applied throughout the homes and amenities, this walkable and connected community is iconic and on the verge of idyllic while at the same time livable, comfortable and accommodating.”
With its success, Miralon will become a model for developers worldwide seeking to emulate this innovative way of living that balances urban, suburban, resort and rural lifestyles.
Miralon also received many Merit Awards including Best Community Amenity – (the new Miralon Club), Best Single Family Detached Home – 1,800 to 2,499 sq. ft. (with Woodbridge Pacific Group) and Best Single Family Detached Home – 2,500 to 2,999 sq. ft. (with Woodbridge Pacific Group), which we are also so proud to achieve.
