Gallery Homes Desert Modern Residences Coming Soon

Agrihood Awarded ‘Masterplan Community of the Year,’ and Will Host Modernism Week ‘Mod Evening’ Event

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Miralon, the sustainably designed “agrihood” community in Palm Springs, will open a new-home neighborhood soon. Gallery Homes has started construction on its 50 Desert-Modern homes, Gallery at Miralon. Pricing is expected to start in the $800,000s.

Gallery at Miralon consists of one- and two-story residences on large lots with inspiring mountain views and access to Miralon’s extensive amenities, including the new Miralon Club. Gallery at Miralon offers four unique floorplans with up to 3,059 square feet of spacious indoor-outdoor living. Each home includes a private courtyard entry and private pool.

“Gallery at Miralon will be a stunning addition to the legacy of Mid-Century Modern design that evolved in Palm Springs and lives at Miralon,” said Freehold California Division President Brad Shuckhart. “These homes also expand the diversity of home choices at Miralon, a place that continues to attract international attention and extraordinary demand for homes.”

Developer Freehold Communities is building Miralon, one of the largest new “agrihoods” in the U.S. The masterplan community will include 1,150 Modernist-inspired residences to harmonize with Palm Springs’ architectural heritage. A highlight of Miralon’s 309 acres is its transformation of a previously constructed 18-hole golf course into working olive groves, community gardens and walking trails. These amenities, including the new Miralon Club, fulfill Freehold Communities’ Vital Communities® approach toward healthy living and social engagement.

The 50 new homes of Gallery at Miralon join Miralon’s two existing neighborhoods: Flair, by Woodbridge Pacific Group and Aura at Miralon by PLC Communities. The new activity comes as Miralon recently the received Masterplan Community of the Year at 2021 Gold Nugget Awards, the top honor bestowed by PCBC – representing the best of the building industry.

In addition to Masterplan Community of the Year, Miralon received Gold Awards for:

  • Residential Detached Collection of the Year (with homebuilder Woodbridge Pacific Group for its Flair neighborhood)
  • Best Community Land Plan
  • Best Landscape Architecture for a Community
  • Best Community Pivot

Miralon Club and Modernism Week

Miralon also recently unveiled its extensive new amenity center: The Miralon Club. Created by the foremost leaders in architecture, interiors and landscape design, The Miralon Club is a landmark achievement. As with the community’s residences, The Miralon Club updates the Mid-Century architectural heritage of Palm Springs. Attractions and services include:

  • Club room
  • Full-service bar (a rarity in masterplan communities; named “Mirabar”)
  • Resort-style pool, lap pool, hot hub and cabanas
  • Outdoor demonstration kitchen plus indoor kitchen (“Demo Kitchen”)
  • Fitness studio including premium cardio and strength circuit (“Energy Zone”)
  • Yoga/pilates area (“Fitness Studio”)

The Miralon Club is the setting for the community’s participation in Modernism Week Fall Preview 2021. On Saturday, October 16, 2021 Miralon will host “A Mod Evening at Miralon.” Entertainment will include the Martini Kings, a four-piece performing swinging sounds from the 50s and 60s; catering and bar by Lulu California Bistro; and olive oil tasting and demonstration from Temecula Olive Oil Company, the same artisans who harvest and press olives from Miralon’s olive groves.
